September 2008
This site is no longer being updated. All current information and pages are to be found at the new site...
There you will find over 300 pages of articles in addition to my range of blackwork, cross stitch and hardanger designs.
November 2007
My apologies for not updating the site for some time. I have been concentrating on building up www.needlework-tips-and-techniques.com which will eventually take over from this site. With close to 200 pages on that site now it is growing nicely.
You will find my newest design in the blackwork figures section. It is called The Unexpected Guest and is a scene from the 1920’s showing two gentlemen and a lady chatting in a cafe.
I have also uploaded a new Christmas cross stitch freebie of a little turkey.
The new site has an RSS feed which will enable you to be kept informed every time something new is added (normally every few days). You can also subscribe to my growing newsletter Stitchin’Time which has freebies and stories each month and has proved extremely popular.
See you there?
June 2007
Time for a new freebie at needlework-tips-and-techniques.com this month it is a cute little mouse in a tea cup - just my cup of tea!
The hardanger instructions for a new coaster design are also now online. Along with a stitch index which will build over the months.
The 1920’s blackwork figures are now available as instant downloads - no waiting for the postman, no postal charges!
May 2007
The instant download facility is gradually being added to both sites. Some of my charts are now available to purchase and download straight away without waiting for the postman. Save money and time! If there is a particular design you wish to purchase in this format and I haven’t sorted it yet, just drop me a line on my contact me form and I will bring it to the front of the queue.
Don’t forget the monthly newsletter with free charts and special offers on X-Calibre designs kits and charts.
Or for more immediate communication and interaction I have now introduced Carol’s Needlework Blog where I will natter about all things needlework and you can reply, comment or argue with me.
