Cross Stitch Lacemaker

I know this is the blackwork section of the site, but it seemed the most sensible place to put the cross stitched version of the Lacemaker. One of our earliest designs, but still as popular around the world.

Another cross stitch design, based on an 19th Century lithograph with kind permission of the Honiton Lace Shop. Mary is worked in 8 shades, using no fractional or back stitches.
